Do people still Blog?

 Hey y'all.

I really am struggling.

Does anyone really blog anymore?

I have been trying really hard to keep this blog going and make it work.

I'm really not sure where this blog, or even this post is going, so bear with me.

I have had this blog a few years now and I keep hoping it will take off. It hasn't happened yet.

I have tried to post, edit, ad pics, add ads....

I tried to work on my niche, topics, posts...

I've read, read, and re-read all the ways to make this blog popular and profitable. I joined all the Facebook groups where all the pros hang out and show you how to have your views soar!

Obviously, that is not working.

I will never be a Pro-Blogger.

I am just me, struggling to get something, some days anything wrote and posted.

The internet is ever-changing and I cannot keep up with all techy stuff.

I can't edit a photo to be the perfect, clickable pin.
I cannot afford to hire someone to make my website more appealing.
I tried Google ads.
I tried affiliates.
I am just not good at any of it.
I'm lucky to make $1.50 in 2/3 months!
June is the month for my domain renewal.
Less than 2 months to decide where this is going.
I honestly cannot say.
Yes, I have put a lot and a few years into it, but I can't keep paying the price with no return.
I hate the idea of losing my "name" and my domain.
I am hoping to figure something out soon.
Please, just hang on with me.
Thanks to those that do still jump on here to read.

Crochet Gnome Free Pattern Link

 Hey y'all!

I am so excited for 2021!
Amen! We made it!
How are you starting your year off?

Catching up on unfinished projects?
Piling up your Pinterest with new patterns to try?
Starting off on that one project you've been holding out starting?

I sort of fall into all 3 of these.

There are just way too many patterns, projects, and Pinterest ideas!

I cannot decide where to begin!

I worked all through December working on these Oh, too cute Gnomes!
Seriously!
They were definitely my biggest seller this year!
I decided to put my own spin on this project and up the basic pattern.
I have been making "Seasonal Gnome" hats.
A hat for each holiday, we'll say.
That way when you purchase a Gnomie, you can also add a variety of fun hats and keep him around all year!
I call mine, Gnomie in the Home!~AKA~ Jingles
Here is a quick link to the original, basic pattern that I started out with.

Here are a few that I have been working on.
Yes, I custom made a Steelers...*gasp* Gnome!
It was a customer request! Thank Goodness their logo is pretty basic!

I also get almost all of my yarn from ordering online at Yarnspirations

I hope you enjoy this post and always comment. I'd love to hear from you!
Happy Crocheting. Check back for new hats to come!
I will be getting started on Spring soon!
I cannot wait!

Short O and U Word Family Posters

Hi yall!

I feel like I need to catch up. How is every one's school year going?

Are you keeping pace? Falling behind? Feel like each day is an adventure?

I sure do!

If you are like me, you're still new and trying to figure out what works best for your child/student.

I have learned my daughter is a visual learner. She likes the songs, games, and posters! Big, flashy, grab your attention kind of things!

That means part of my job is to find lots of colorful worksheets, youtube videos that go with her lesson, and to find, er...create lots of great posters and flashcards to keep her engaged.

Canva is a great resource for making semi-easy material.

Each time I use it, I find a new way to enhance my project. It really is neat.

Here are the latest two short vowel posters I have made.

Short O Word Family Poster

Short U Word Family Poster

If you'd like to purchase the whole short vowel family as a bundle, you can and save!

Vowels A,E,I,O,U Bundle and Save

This week we are focusing on money, coins, and the silent E.

I am super excited to get to work on more material!

Make sure to keep checking back for more great resources!

Happy Teaching!
